Send Receipts to QBO

You can view a receipt uploaded to ScanBox. An integrated OCR will extract the data to a QBO template. You can check the data and send to QBO.

Sign into your Qbox account at www.qboxplus.com, and click on ScanBox to launch your ScanBox Web Dashboard.

Select a Receipt from the QBO Company Receipts folder.

The original receipt will be displayed on the left, and the data extracted by OCR is displayed on the right. Check the data, make any corrections as needed and click Save Details.

If you are submitting the receipt as an expense, select Expense, Payment Account, Payment Method, Vendor, Category and enter the Amount. You can also split the Amount into multiple Categories by clicking Split Category. Check your selection and click ‘Send to QBO and Exit’, to send the transaction to the QBO Company.

If you are submitting the receipt as a bill, select Bill, Vendor, Account and Amount. You can split the amount into multiple Accounts by selecting Split Account. Check your selection and click ‘Send to QBO and Exit’, to send the transaction to the QBO Company.

Please note that you can create new vendor, category, payment method, etc. from the QBO template itself.
