Setup Fujitsu ScanSnap Scanner
You can configure Fujitsu ScanSnap scanners to scan files directly to the ScanBox cloud folders, without the need for first scanning to a local folder and uploading. The scanned documents are sent to the ‘Scanned Documents’ folders, and then can be moved to the folders of a QBO company on ScanBox.
First install the Fujitsu ScanSnap scanner following instructions supplied with the scanner. After installation you should see the ScanSnap application on your desktop.
Sign into your Qbox account at www.qboxplus.com, and click on ScanBox to launch your ScanBox Web Dashboard.
Click the ‘Fujitsu Installer for Windows’ button to download and install ScanBox application.
After installation you will see a shortcut for ScanBox labelled ‘SB’ on your desktop. Launch the application and login to your ScanBox account.
After logging in, you will get a confirmation message. Please exit the message.
You are now ready to add the ScanBox Profiles to the Fujitsu ScanSnap application.
On the ScanSnap application, select the Add Profile button.
Select the ScanBox Check profile from the list, select the desired Scanner setting and select Add.
Next, select the ScanBox Receipts profile from the list, select the desired Scanner setting, and click Add.
Fujitsu Scanner installation for ScanBox is now completed. You should see the ScanBox Checks and ScanBox Receipts buttons on the ScanSnap application.
Insert a receipt in the scanner and push the ScanBox Receipts button. The receipt will be scanned directly to the Scanned Documents Receipts folder in your ScanBox account. You can then select the file and move it to the Receipts folder of a QBO company.
Insert a check in the scanner and push the ScanBox Checks button. The check will be scanned directly to the Scanned Documents Checks folder in your ScanBox account. You can then select the file and move it to the Checks folder of a QBO company.
Checks or Receipts can be entered in to the QBO company following instructions given in the help documents.
